I’m Deja.

The quieter half of the woman you may already know.

Divine Deja is my world: the writing, the portraits, the cities I return to, and the things I decide are worth keeping.

I am based in Columbus, Ohio, and the rest of the year is chosen a city at a time. New York is my favorite of all of them. Chicago is exactly the right reason to stay one more night.

I am a trans woman, openly and never as the whole story. What I care about is how a moment feels: whether it is easy, whether it is real, and whether you are still thinking about it later. This is where I keep the moments.

Here you will find the journal, the portraits, the small moving things, and the letters I send to my list first.

For women making worlds of their own, I keep a separate space for creators: little notes on voice, ideas, AI, and the week behind the page.
